About Valdris

Two product people. One useful system at a time.

Valdris is Brendan Tack and Yomi Idowu. We help growing businesses fix the handoffs, admin and customer journeys that have become harder than they need to be.

Why we started

Good work should not depend on heroic memory.

We have both seen good services held together by patient people, private spreadsheets and the one colleague who remembers everything.

The work gets done, but it takes too much chasing—and nobody quite trusts what happens when the busiest person is away.

Large organisations can throw teams and long programmes at those problems. Most smaller businesses cannot, and should not have to. They need someone to understand the real handoffs, make the smallest sensible fix and help the team use it.

That is why we start by watching how the work actually moves. Sometimes the answer is automation. Sometimes it is a clearer rule, owner or handoff. We will tell you which one we think it is.

The people behind the work

Brendan Tack

Brendan usually turns the first conversation into a process map and working prototype. He works across discovery, workflow design and hands-on build, and writes Valdris’s field notes about the tools and experiments behind the work.

Yomi Idowu

Yomi keeps the work anchored to the people using it and the result the business needs. He challenges the scope, shapes the service around the team and makes sure the fix can survive real working habits.

Working together

Direct, visible and deliberately small.

You’ll work directly with us from the first map to the live system. There is no sales handoff and no hidden delivery team.

The first 30-minute fit call is free. Bespoke workflow builds start at £1,000, with the scope and price agreed before work begins. You see working progress as we build.

  1. Show work earlyYou see the unfinished thing while it is still easy to change.
  2. Explain the trade-offsWe use plain language and tell you where the uncertainty is.
  3. Ask for less timeWe involve your team where their knowledge matters—not in meetings for the sake of it.
A few useful boundaries

Things we will not do.

  • Sell automation when the process itself is the problem.
  • Hide uncertainty behind a big deck or a pile of jargon.
  • Build a clever sandbox that never touches the working day.
  • Leave your team with a system nobody knows how to run.
Start with the awkward bit

What keeps getting stuck in your week?

Bring one repeated handoff, piece of admin or customer journey. We will tell you honestly whether it looks worth fixing.
