Quick answers

Try these before sending a raven.

My steps are not updating a walking quest

Open iOS Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Health, Apps and OutQuest. Confirm that step-count access is allowed. Return to OutQuest and refresh the Today or Goals screen. OutQuest requests read-only step access and cannot complete an eligible walking quest without it.

My Apple Watch is not showing the latest quests

Keep the paired iPhone and Apple Watch nearby, confirm Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are available, and open OutQuest on both devices. In OutQuest Settings on iPhone, use the Apple Watch sync card to send the latest daily quests again.

I did not receive a quest reminder

Open iOS Settings, find OutQuest and confirm notifications are allowed. Then open OutQuest Settings, make sure reminders are enabled and check the selected daily reminder time. Rest days can suppress a streak warning.

Why did Face ID appear?

OutQuest uses Apple’s device authentication for adult-only Family Mode actions and sensitive data controls, such as approvals, rewards, resetting progress and deleting data. OutQuest never receives your biometric data.

Can I edit the weekly plan?

Yes. You can accept a suggested week, swap individual quests or generate alternatives. Your chosen rest days and planning preferences help shape the suggestions.

How do I export my progress?

Open OutQuest Settings and choose “Export achievement history”. iOS opens the share sheet so you can save or send the JSON export to a destination you choose.

How do I delete my OutQuest data?

Open OutQuest Settings and choose “Delete all data”. After device authentication and confirmation, OutQuest removes local goals, quests, family profiles, rewards, settings and progress from that device. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data.

Can support recover deleted progress?

No. OutQuest currently has no account or Valdris cloud sync, so the support team cannot retrieve or restore data deleted from your device.

Should I send personal information in a support email?

Please share only what is necessary to explain the app issue. Do not send sensitive health information, detailed financial data or unnecessary information about a child. Screenshots can contain personal quest names, goals and family details, so check them before attaching.

Privacy question?

There’s a separate trail for that.
